Straw Weaving Workshop

Straw weaving is an old craft in Palestine, used by our ancestors to create an array of kitchenware products for daily life use as well as for decoration.

Unfortunately nowadays this craft is becoming more and more rare.

We at Nasijona have taken upon ourselves the task to restore this craft and teach it to the newer generations.

Therefore, our workshop does not only offer you the skills to work with the different kinds of straw,willow, plastic or natural, but is also a window to the past and the history of this tradition.
