Makkuk Shuttle Workshop

Makkuk – Shuttle Workshop : This is an art form used by the women of Palestine, especially in the Galilee, to embellish their headscarves. It requires a unique skill in the hands and precision as well as a good eye for colors and shapes. 

It is a heritage that we take pride in here at Nasijona. Therefore, with the help of our very skilled teachers, we work to revive this craft, develop it and deploy it again in embellishing clothing items and jewelry alike. 

You are welcome to join the workshop in groups with multiple participants or arrange for a private workshop.
